today is nurhanisah's official 17th birthday!!!!!
so on saturday, she had a barbeque at east coast. i went with hadi, then fandi joined us. well, reached there at around 6+pm? then saw nazie and syaf but the rest i don't really know. (hanisah's lepak friends) so then, i brought along the gift i bought for her in Ipoh but i did not give her the birthday present yet. so yeah, she wanted a pair of converse high-cut shoes. okay then, back to bbq, initially i wanted to go home but ended up staying because i thought, these kind of things are like, once in a while so its okay. and due to the fact that i have my japanese class at 10am. me, fandi and hadi talked or rather 'bullshitting' throughout the night. talk about NCC, and doing magic tricks from poker cards.
okay, i don't really have the mood to like tell all, but that's practically it. then at 6am+, me and hadi went to Macdonalds nearby to eat. fandi went off to work. i got a big breakfast which wasn't really big in a sense and a filet-o-fish and some iced milo. after that, took a cab home, sent hadi first then reached my house at 8am+. once home, i dampened my face, then switched on the fan instead of the air-con and slept....... till 10am. and 10am my japanese class had started. i had an express bath, and my head feels so dizzy from all that adrenaline, i can't even walk properly and my mouth just blurted what i was thinking. and i would go, 'did i just say that?'
reached the class at around 10.30am, took a cab. said good morning to kende. the receptionist,then i said, i'm late....then i was like, 'did i just say something?'...stunned........ then the japanese class...... it was in japanese..literally and i'm like 'shit, i didn't do my homework, and did not revise and i forgot most of last week's lesson.'.... screwed.
but all was okay after that 10 minutes break.
finished class at 12.30pm, went STRAIGHT home. all i could think about was catching some sleep before i start work at 5pm. i did catch some. and i ended up late about 15 minutes for work.
fast forward to 11pm. finished work, clocked off. went straight home and now i'm going to sleep.

its now a good day to update and about time too.
okay, a follow-up on last week, i went on a holiday to Ipoh, Malaysia. An 8-hour bus ride from Singapore - Ipoh, what's not to like eh? bus departed at 10pm, reached Singapore Customs at 2nd-link at around 11pm+. Then pass Malaysian Customs, stopover at Yong Peng, then all the way to Ipoh, i didn't get to see much, because it was bloody dark outside. the bus was quite comfy, unlike economy class in an airplane. reclining seats, a TV showing the movie Fearless and my PSP playing music.but come the Instrumentals music, the ambience is nice.
so okay, i did sleep at around 4am, all the while i was dreaming or looking out in the window, and because i was sitting beside my little sister, she just refused to sleep. LoL. 1 hour prior to arrival, i slept! then reached Ipoh at around 5am,Monday, and from the drop-off point, walked to the hotel, the Ritz Garden Hotel. 4-star i presume.
we got 2 rooms, 1 for my parents and 1 for me and my sisters. connecting rooms. 702 and 704. Super Deluxe Rooms. there's even Secret Recipe down in the lobby!! so i told myself i would definately drop there if i have the time. there was cable tv but limited channels. Disney, HBO, Cinemax, TV1, 2 and 3, Discovery, NatGeo, NTV7 and got 2 more local channels. the moment i reached the bed, it was no turning back, slept just like that with my jeans on. until 10am, woke up, bathed, got dressed and took a cab to Jusco. walked a bit, shopped a bit. and went back to the hotel at 4pm. went out at around 8pm to D' Night Cafe nearby. lol. Ipoh is a small sleepy town and that you can hardly find shops that open beyond the hour of 6pm. i ate Sirloin steak. which roughly costs around only SGD$6. and had Fresh Orange Juice. literally fresh. then went back to the hotel.
next day, 14th March, went to Tesco, which is nearby Jusco. (IMHO, i just wonder how they name the shopping centre). Tesco is like a partial 2-floor shopping paradise. with an exchange rate of 1 SGD$ = RM2.275, shopping haven for us. spent like RM300+. and a hell lot of stuff. clothes, snacks and the 'remeh-temeh' of Malaysian snacks. then after that walked back to Jusco. i repeat, WALKED. it was bloody hot lah!!! then no straight route, had to walk by main road. but anyway, there the taxis have no fare meter. hail down a cab, open the door and say, 'Itu pergi Jusco sana brapa ah?' ( lit. Go Jusco there the fare how much?) RM10? ok, its a deal.
oh and a piece of advice when visiting a foreign country, try to blend in with the local people, it would make travelling opportunities much more easier. that said, on the next day, wednesday, me,mum,and my 2 sisters went to visit Sunway Ipoh, Lost World. Basically its a bloody huge water theme park and balls better than Wild Wild Wet. The taxi driver who took us there was super friendly. English-speaking, easy to talk to and know more about Ipoh. nice~ its almost like as if i'm in Singapore again. reached the Sunway City souvenir shop and literally shopped the whole day away. took some videos and pics, would be up shortly. then called back the taxi driver and back to Jusco, again. walked around there again. by the time i was so tired lah, so then went back to the hotel, happy with the spoils. i had like RM100++ and $SGD100 spare to spend and i didnt know what i wanted to buy. late afternoon i was at the lobby connected to the broadband internet and was in MSN Messenger. then evening went out of the hotel to a nearby restaurant. well, coffeehouse i guess.
next day, thursday, went to Giant hypermarket which is again nearby Ipoh Sunway, and shopped again, this time nearly reaching RM200+ and a hell lot of stuff and souvenirs. that was the last day we could go shopping as Friday we would be catching the 10am bus home to Singapore. and finally on that thursay, i bought myself a pair of jeans, and a pair of shoes. North Star shoe at RM39.90 before 70% discount, after discount was RM19.90!!!! omg, such branded shoes in Singapore. and i bought that in Bata. wow~ so ne~ then it was time to pack up!!!!!!~
people in Malaysia are no different from Singaporeans and from any other country in fact. everyone is equal, just that we unite under different nationalities and our loyalties split under national flags.
the next day, friday, woke up early to get some breakfast, then checked out, caught the bus and it was all the way snapping pictures of mountains, KL towns, and myself =p
reached Singapore at around 6pm, home at 6.30pm. and i was at Katong by 7pm to play LAN games with my LAN buddies, lemuel,ben,hadi,ken,zhi hui and zhi da. play Battlefield 2 SF. and i was still not tired after that 8 hour bus ride. then after that still can go supper till 1am+. reached home, talked to hanisah a while then do my japanese homework. supposed i did it during my holiday in Ipoh but was lazy. so damn. and dammit all the sentences was in japanese. so got to slowly decode lor. like........ hai, miraa san wa kirei desu. simple sentences but take a bloody hell lot of time to decode because of the long consonants which i'm not sure and the katakana.
slept at 4am+ then woke up at 9am. intermediate japanese class from 10am - 12.30pm. then bloody sleepy lah. watashi uchi e kaerimasu. soshite, nemasu hajimemashou desu. dunnoe whether my sentence structure correct or not. LOL. then the first thing my japanese tutor asked me when i entered the class was, 'zaini-san, ima nanji okimashita ka.' i was like...errr... 'hachi-ji ni okimashita.' fine. =P 8am wake up ah?hahah. then learn japanese vocabulary, wah damn sian. mozukoshii desu ne!!!! demo Nihon-go wa omoshiroi desu!!! watashi daisuki desu. =P
so then, when i got back from the class, slept till 4pm, got dressed and went to work for my 5pm-10pm shift. still bloody sleepy lah!!~ after work still can go supper till 3am. hahah. power sia. this proves no matter how tired i am, there's still room for some fun. fine, whatever.
