For Never Ever

I don't have an inkling of which is better.

Is it better to live a profound life filled with family and close friends or a life filled with money?

I for one, would say, if money can't buy you happiness, then obviously you don't have enough money to buy it.

Seemingly, my personality trait does not allow me to overcome these highly superficial things. Reason being, I have this need to be in the dark. The kind of personality that only sees myself as a single entity and does not have a follower; even its own shadow.

Lo and behold the might of such a fiery character kept in check by the very air surrounding it; almost invincible. Enjoy the brilliant fireworks on display, because its heck of a wayward better than National Day.

Good news for optimists, as sudden as the fireworks starts, it dissipates into thin air just as quickly.

News flash, its very difficult to make me annoyed, however, once bitten, I'll be very well inclined to make sure you'll never forget it for several lifetimes.

Obsession With Leather

After a few months of looking, researching and testing, I have finally to lay my hands on some fine German-made leather.

I bought my Braun Buffel wallet. Its soft-leather type and not the hard-type which I've been using all these while.

And I'm loving it!!!!

I bought it from Isetan at SGD$133 which I think its worthwhile.

I was asked, 'Why Braun Buffel?'

Simple, it was a childhood brand which I was exposed to, hence, the trust in the brand. It has this really executive, smart and stylish to the brand. It exudes class and it is unlike any other.

It may not be the newest range, I bought the Edel range, its still top quality!

Of course, after just using the wallet for only 3 days, I can't just say anything bad about it. Though one thing is for sure, its going to stay with me for a long, long time before I purchase another wallet.

I love the smell of good leather. It makes my morning feels so good.

Work Is Temporary, Studying Is Forever

I've enrolled myself into SIM-UOL degree programme offered for a duration of 3 years. I'm taking up a degree in Banking & Finance.

It's a good start for someone who is new to the world of business and economics. The course is due to start in August and which I have about 5 months left before school term starts. My dad is sponsoring my studies through the 3 years who I'm really thankful for. I've seen people working full-time and studying part-time just to make ends meet and its not a pretty sight.

The school fees?

A whopping $24,000++ for 3 years.

I'm not going to waste this chance. That is my resolve.

What I'm going to mention in the next few paragraphs are my plans for the next 5 years after graduation.

In view of the current economic and political situation in Singapore, I've decided to find greener pastures overseas. There is only so much room that we can grow and maintain this state of dependency amongst the rising cost of living fueled by policies that have been set to not sit well with the locals.

We have to be realistic and not follow up with society's sycophancy with utmost disgust. Places that I have in mind; Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, UK, USA and Dubai in no order of preference.

Having a degree in the business field is all the more flexible and employability with a background in computing.

It might just make me invincible. =)
