The Colour Of Money

I'm studying hard. Harder than ever before.

Points to note, Introduction to Economics is tough.

Principles of Accounting is starting to get difficult.
Principles of Banking & Finance is holding steady.
Maths1 is holding steady.

Intro to Economics is still on Indifference Curve and Budget Line.
Principles of Banking & Finance is just finishing on Financial Intermediaries and coming up
short of Financial Securities.
Maths1 is still on Basics chapter 1. Differentiation. Well, basically its E & A Maths.

I have no idea how to do this Economics question. Let me type out the question.

"In an economy, x are capital goods while y represents consumption goods. They are both produced using labour and capital with the following technology. A unit of capital can make 2 units of y or 1/2 unit of x. A unit of labour can make 10 units of y and 10 units of x. There are 20 units of labour and 200 units of capital. The depreciation rate is 35% per year. The economy cannot grow while labour is fully employed and is therefore, inefficient. True or false. Explain."

I LOL-ed while reading out the question out loud. It sounds easy and its worth 8 marks for a 1 page answer.

Sumpah tak bedek, aku tak tau buat soalan ini.

School, School, School

It is the mid-week of the 2nd week of school.

Though I have to say, things can get pretty slack if I'm not doing anything. The fact remains that we have no second chances if we were to flunk the final exam papers.

Right now, Intro to Economics and Maths1 modules are killing me. Principles of Banking & Finance and Principles of Accounting are the slightly less taxing ones. Or so I hope for the rest of the year.

Speaking of economics, I have heard that what we would be studying under University of London would be much more of that of a final-year NUS student studying a full-fledged Economics degree.

Right now, we're studying the Indifference Curve and the Budget Line, in essence after studying consumer behaviour.

Damn, Uni is so different from Polytechnic.
