The Way Of Life II

I almost had forgotten that I have a blog. I've been enjoying the company of friends through last week.

I've been sleeping at 3am, and waking up at 12pm-2pm. Now that, is GOOD LIFE, my friend!
Wake up, bathe, eat, go exercise and become a Facebook & MSN hogger for the rest of the night. But at a cost of having no job and that translates to no income.

These late nights are not wasted. I've been brushing up my Vietnamese, surfing through Vietnam's history, looking for places of interest, what to do and what not to do there, etc. Its not easy but I don't plan in getting conned there. I'm not saying its an unsafe place, I just want to make it a memorable one.

Looks like its going to be a short entry for now, I'm feeling sleepy.

The Civilian Way Of Life

I think I slept too much till I got a running nose.

Besides that, I've been helping my mom's friend at the restaurant. I thought I could get away with F&B jobs. Its only for a while to occupy my time just till my Vietnam trip next month. Yes! I'm going to Vietnam!

After that trip, I'm going to apply for a contract admin job somewhere. Hopefully its somewhere nearby at Tampines Central. Someone said to me, "So you're going to be a paper-pusher?"

Yup! Definitely better than serving ungrateful customers. But since my last pay from the SAF this month, which ain't much, I'm currently cash-strapped. Living off scraps in my bank account, therefore limiting my day activities to just daily exercises.

I can't wait for the Vietnam trip!!!! =D

Sometimes, I wonder why these children have no manners.

Why?

Because when you call someone's house, you say, "Hello, can I speak to [whoever]".

Normally, it is only polite to identify yourself as the caller.

Are they stupid? Judging from the voice. Typical Malay. I'm not being racist here, because I'm Malay. But I will be, because as of right now, my evening is not going too well.

Like I said, its only polite. Right?

This seemingly immature boy, called and said, "Hello, who's this?"

"Who are you and what do you want?", I was obviously pissed before I even replied. If its one thing I CANNOT, koto ga dekimasen, TAK BOLEH, tolerate is people who have no manners!!

And dude, I am not obliged to answer your question because of your lack of grace.

You know what the boy did after that? He disconnected the call. How rude.

I'm usually a nice guy and all, but to hell with him.

Definately, it's not one of my friends, because they always call me on my mobile, only close friends know my house number.

Now you know why I hate being a Malay? That bitch brings down the name of Malays. I'm stereotyping and an asshole for saying that, but its the truth!!! You don't like that, then that's your problem. Just look, is there anything proud to say that I'm a Malay??? No.

When I go outside and meet people, "Oh, you look like a Chinese. Ni hao?"

I give that blank look.

"Oh, you're not a Chinese, you're a......"

"I'm a Malay."

"Oh, a Malay....." and that face.

It says few million words.

I'm a Muslim. And I'm proud of that, yes. But being a Muslim doesn't automatically mean you're a Malay. I'm not a Malay in the first place considering my parent's heritage.

Those really typical goddamn Melayu. Especially those in ITE. GODDAMNIT, THE HORROR. That place is literally INFESTED with these cannot-make-it Malays. Now you know why Melayu tak maju? (Cannot succeed) Ya, can be happy-go-lucky, but cannot work hard. So, they become stupid and life has become their folly.

I'm not surprised by the statistics that the bulk of low-wage income earners are Malays! And the common whine I hear is, "Eh, why my salary so low? Wah, unfair!!"

What? Unfair? HAH!. You've become a joke of society, that's WHAT.

Last time your parents asked you to study, you're stubborn.

Take a look around you!!!! TAKE. A. FUCKING. GOOD. LOOK.

For those Malays reading this, WAKE UP AND PROVE THE SOCIETY WRONG!!!!

We are being looked down by others can't you see.

Oh no, we can't. Why? Too busy having too much fun. Ya sure, smoke,drink, and fool your lives away. That's what you all are destined for.

As for me, I'm trying my best to prove that being a Malay and being with a Malay isn't a waste of time.

The Best Things In Life Are Sometimes Random

The hot weather is crazy! I've been sweating non-stop since afternoon.

Needless to say, which is why girls have been wearing super short shorts and spaghetti strap tops. The girls like it, the men love it. But that's not the point. Sheesh!

Its been a really laid back week. I've been doing alot of things which I think some of it is worth mentioning. I've been exercising! Swimming, running and doing weights again. Its time to beef up again since I'm really too free. And I've been enjoying freedom.

I got bored playing computer games. There's not really alot I can do on the computer. I've been buying magazines and books on investing though. I've yet to completely finish the books. It's been a long time since I sat down and read a book. My old story books sit in a box in a corner of my room waiting to be, I dunno, read again?

I'm reading up on investing in the stock market. I have a passion for this!! =D

But I won't elaborate more, as I'm still a greenhorn at this.

Oh, and I'm going to dye my hair, Platinum Blonde! hahahaha! Try try mah. I'm going to cut it off if its ugly. Ok, I'm going to stereotype here, if it fails, I'm going to be a dumb blonde at this dyeing thing. And my contact lenses are due to arrive on Wednesday.

I'm going to sleep!
