Money Never Sleeps But I Do

I have no classes today, so I woke up quite late around 12pm.

My dad came home early like around before I woke up?! haha. No need to go office I guess.

I went out with my dad, mom and one of my sister for lunch at Hougang. Had chicken rice and I was like full after eating only 3/4 of the rice. I don't tend to eat alot nowadays. Sometimes I just have no appetite. Its the weather I suppose? It's so hot and humid nowadays that I drink lots and lots of water and because I do sweat by the buckets.

I bought some banana-flavoured milk and a copy of The Business Times. What to do, I have to be more business-savvy. And its kinda nice to be sipping cold milk, reading newspapers on a Wednesday afternoon. Sounds like I'm retiring right after school!!! hahahahahaha! Banyak hasil? =P

In the evening, I went down to GV Tampines to watch the movie, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps a.k.a Wall Street 2. Its the modernised version of its predecessor. Called up Sud if he wanted to watch. So in the end, just watched the show with him since I don't think any other of my friends could really understand the show unless you're into economics, banking and finance stuff.

The show's pretty fast-paced and it likes to leave scenes hanging even though its a longer-than-usual movie. Not impressed with the depth of the movie. It lacks character development and content. I'll give it a 1-star rating if I'm a layman.

Went home straight and surfed the net abit, did some revision for tomorrow's POA lesson.

Early Bird Got No Class Today

On a normal Tuesday, I'm supposed to have Econs class at 8.30am and Maths1 class at 3.30pm.

However, as I already had an extra Econs class on a Thursday 2 weeks back, there was no Econs class this week. And I remembered that much from my timetable. What I overlooked was the date and not quite surprisingly, I woke up as per normal on Tuesdays preparing to go school. I messaged Si Jie if she was coming for Econs class. She took an awfully long while to reply (presumably still sleeping!) =P

And that prompted me to check my timetable in my HTC phone. And true enough!!! No Econs class and I was already halfway to school at Kembangan MRT station. What to do!? I'm not gonna spend 7 hours in school till 3.30pm! That's madness. So I took the opposite train home.

Reached home, my parents were surprised, thinking I was sick or something. No one was expecting me to be back so soon when I just left like about 45 minutes ago!

Fast forward to 3.30pm when Maths1 class starts. I was waiting for the 2 girls to come. Rachel lives in Bukit Batok; how lucky!!! Ying Chen lives in Serangoon. Quite a distance too but definitely not as far as Tampines.

I met a few nice people, Rachel, Ying Chen, Si Jie, Darren, RJ, Vanessa, Joycelin and Elaine.

These are the usual people I see in the lectures. The rest from my OG all scattered around the timing. Either when they are having lessons, I am at home or I am having lessons and they are at home. LOL. Rachel and Ying Chen always bully me! hahahaha! They once tricked me to tap for the campus attendance, I was really duped back then. They tag-team just to disturb and irritate the wind out of me. I already got no power to irritate them coz they're already immune to my nonsense. But I think they're really nice! hahah. =D

Met them by chance also during Student Council interview, and I've been tagging with them since for most of my lectures.

So far, I'm just barely coping. I'll have to revise on my Maths1, haven't even touched the subject yet, I'm concentrating on Intro to Econs and Principles of Banking and Finance. These are hardcore subjects and quite strenuous too.

And I'm off to sleep now! Study day tomorrow.
