in today's modern world, if you're not multi-tasking, then chances are, you're not human.
look at it this way, you're in office, replying client emails, doing paperwork and eating lunch. wouldn't that be a sight. so in an effort to curb the amounting stress you get from work. you got to take it slow and easy. do just one thing at a time and try to focus on that thing you're doing at the moment and not to focus on everything at the same time. as they say, take it as it comes.
just yesterday, i was looking for some content management providers and my friend recommended me WordPress. she said it was pretty useful for a change besides the one that BlogSpot provides. and plus i get a dot WordPress address similar to a dot BlogSpot.
like i said, if i'm not multi-tasking, i'm not human.
oh yes, i'll be working full shift this coming week. did i mention about it before? i hate staying at home alone. parents' working, sisters' in school. i need a girlfriend~ hurhurhur. haha.
but i'm sorry, i'm not that desperate. i want Michelle. that Mezza9 girl.
i haven't been seeing her the past week though. oh no~
once in primary school, i had a crush on this girl named Michelle. i can't remember the face though, but i'd bet she's pretty now. or is she? hahah.
now, after like 10 years later, i'm still after a girl named Michelle. what's with me and the name Michelle huh?! too much coincidence. maybe i reckon its the same girl. that would be super nice man.
imagine if me and her got married, our love story would be like.
Me: i met your mother in primary school. i had a crush on her. but she doesn't know. after 10 years i saw her again working in Hyatt's Mezza9. then after 10 years plus, i finally got the chance to date her.
Children: Waa! sugoi na otoo-san!
Her: hora, hora. ima nete ne. ashita wa gakkou e iku yo.
---
okay, that's a lousy script. i wasn't born to be a scriptwriter. and what's with the Japanese script?!
alright, so anyway, i abandoned Project Zeta. it got me so stressed drawing one night. i told you i'm not born to draw. got a D7 for 'O' Levels Art & Design.
Tomoko
Hiroko
Momoko
Yoko
Riko
Aiko
Emiko
watashi no musume no namae desu! haha. they're very sweet names. at least to me they are. okay now the question. who wants to provide me 7 daughters? hahah.
if i had four wives, not a problem at all. but having just one wife, that's asking way too much. i don't think she'd would have even 5.
imagine going through labour 7 times.
not funny man. not funny at all.
eh, why am i even sidetracking?!!! urgh. 30 minutes gone just like that.
and i actually wanted to post my PS3 pics today. till the next post!
oyasumi!

LAN-ing
i just got back from a LAN party at Katong with my buddies.
me, Ben, Hadi, Lemuel, Zhi Hui and Zhi Da. played SWAT 4, Battlefield 2, Act of War, Frozen Throne.
its been a hell of a long time since we last played together. and yet, my pilot skills have not gone to waste. heheh. riggghhhttt......
okay, so next week. i'm on full shift the whole week. go and pump more money into my payroll. the final homerun till mid-May. its rather sad to leave the line of work once you've grown attached to it. but this is not what i want as a full-time work. and must start to find a new girlfriend before i start NS. hurhurhurrr.
i got nothing to say already.

Having Lunch In The Rain. Priceless.
today i slept only for 4 hours.
i met Daphne a.k.a NG SHI HUI for lunch. supposed to go Design school canteen but i suggested.. Pizza Hut. and it was raining so heavily! so romantic right. heh.
she wanted Hawaiian pizza. so, considering we couldn't upsize the pizza, we ordered Couple's Meal. but it was ok i guess. it had soup and a glass of Pepsi. and we ordered 2 sets of 4 Spicy Drumlets. so had 8! but the thing is we were both so hungry that it seriously wasn't enough. not to me at least. same old Pizza Hut.
i accompanied her to school then i went home. took a rest and off to work!
and i'm so tired. it wasn't about the work, its my sleep hours.
well anyway, i'm going to have a break from work for 2 weeks soon. going off for holiday!! hahahahaha. i will go to............somewhere. if only i had abit more extra money, i would've gone to Moscow, Russia. but on second thoughts, should i save up the money and go for investments. then i don't have to scrimp and save for holidays once i get the pot of gold.
but you know what?
the best things in life are free!
hahah. you should know what i mean.
don't have a clue? i suggest you start reading the previous 200 posts.

Pretty, Sexy, Cute. Choose?
idol for the month, Yumiko Cheng. my my, she's pretty.
okay, she's not really Japanese. that's her nickname. saw one of her movies playing on Chinese Star Movies on cable channel 62.
erm, born in 1981. which means, 6 years older. whoa!
and compare this to that.
okay, let's not get carried away. its from FHM May 2007 Singapore.
now, this is HOT! i think my room's getting warmer. hahah. i'm telling you, there are very distinct lines between sexy and pretty and cute.
sexy, as the one from FHM, pretty as the one as Yumiko Cheng and cute as the one below.
some guys would think all women look good without their clothes on; which i have to agree sometimes. no offence to the women. =)
like what the headline says, 'KNOCKOUT!'. it sure 'knocked' me off my bed. literally.
some random picture
this is cuteness; totally!! =)
but if i were given a choice of the three, i wouldn't take 1.
wanna know why?
why have just 1 when i can have all 3?!
okay, that's lame.
but seriously. i would pick.......
*drumroll*
the one in the FHM cover. yes! the one in the red brassiere. red looks good on her anyway. hahah.
though, i've stopped buying FHM long ago due to some reasons. =\
and i dare ya to read FHM in the MRT train!!! but its just a magazine. nothing wrong with it. its not pornography or anything. the problem with Singaporeans is they're way too narrow-minded. the mention of FHM or Maxim brings out the thought of nudity. or even when queueing to buy FHM, people would be staring as though its wrong to buy. diaoz~
on other random stuff, when shopping with a girl/friend. its very important to know the bra size measurements so you don't have to blurt out the wrong size and get a very discouraging look from the girl/friend.
a first-hand experience example.
him: hmmm, i think you will look good in this.
her: what size is it?
him: let's see..errr... 34C.
her: excuse me! you think mine so big ah!?
him: you won't know until you try it on. want me to help?! *grin*
her: NO! go stand there and don't say anything. (shut up)
---
not cool man. not cool at all.
a stereotypical Singaporean girl have this uncanny ability to make a fuss of just about anything. i mean it. but for me, i could smell one a mile away. the way she walks and talks is all i need to describe her. and the infamous 'hot pants' cry.
anyway, i believe that if you ask a girl nicely, she would let you choose the clothes she would buy and eventually wear. simple. =)
once i had to pick a dress. the good thing is that i only have to choose 1. the bad thing is; there are 1 million and 1 to choose from. from every strap, ruffle, and colour imaginable.
i did another search a few minutes ago and found this. i kinda like it.

verrrryy nice. its just me. i like girls wearing dresses. but its quite rare to see girls wearing such dresses except maybe to a dinner cocktail.
otherwise, it would've been great! =)
alright! it's already 5.00am. time to sleep.

ja. oyasumi! i think i need to sedate myself to sleep from today onwards.

Viva La Cherries
i'm super exhausted after work today. think of it as a 'promotion'.
today, i'm assigned to be the Mezza9 food runner. and wearing a grey coat, it's by no means a fun job. 3 years of hard work, got me to be able to work in 3 locations. Grand Club Deluxe, Grand Club Terrace, and Room Service.
one of my colleagues even commented, "You can work at both Grand Clubs and Room Service and you're wearing that grey coat all the time. you are a neither a full-timer or an Assistant Manager; so you must be a Rooms Division Executive!"

okay, its a candid shot in the old Terrace wing service lifts. the lift behind me was opening. it had a ringing sound before it opened.
and the haircut is a just a little bit overdue.
and everytime i had to wear this for work. they provide uniforms anyway. bo pian lar. just wear lor. and they have name tags too. now every new part-timer needs to pay $5 for it. i got it for free 3 years ago when i started. heh. and i had to use the name, 'Trainee' for a name. imagine that. the guests of the hotel talk to me, "Oh hello Trainee. How are you today? Good?".
one more thing that bugs me though. people in the hotel just doesn't know how to see my name tag. its there for a reason ya know. the housekeeping maids talk to me in Mandarin which with my somewhat convincing acting encouraged them to talk more Mandarin.
one case scenario which happened at work today.
i was serving an order on the 13th floor at the Terrace Wing when i stumbled upon a masterkey which could open all doors in the hotel. (i've used them before back when i worked under Front Office butler. you have to verify yourself at a verification machine everytime you start work and if lost, you're gonna land yourself in a pile of trouble with Management.)
so anyway, i found the key on the floor amongst the white marble tiles. i picked it up and i knew it was the chambermaid's key. that's because at any one time on any floor, there would always be a chambermaid holding a masterkey. before i left the floor, i saw the chambermaid cleaning one of the rooms so i rushed there and called to her.
"Err, hello, xiao jie, ni de masterkey?"
Chambermaid comes squealing, "Ahhhhhhh!!!! wo de wo de!!!! xie xie ni, xie xie!!" while clasping my hands and asking in Mandarin, where i found the key.
"Err, na ke ho mien, the door.", *pointing to the hotel room door.*
the chambermaid must've thought that i got an F9 for Chinese! i couldn't believe i said that. spoiled my moment. but the chambermaid was eternally grateful. i knew it from her eyes. she's young ok! about 20-something and from the accent, she's probably off from China.
for(Math.randomComment())
{
is it me or do i find some China girls pretty. hahahahahahhhh. -__-"
*sweat*
and they don't have much maintenance. Singapore dollar has a higher value than
Renminbi. heh.
}
// End Math.randomComment()
some of the guests, Japanese guests, talk in Japanese and when they realised my puzzled face trying to decode what they're trying to say and looked at my name tag, "Oh I thought you're Japanese!". wow. claps. does Ruzaini mean anything to you in Japanese. sheesh!!!
though, some of the 'ang mohs' are smart enough to see my name tag first and say, 'Terima Kasih'. which i'm grateful.
to wrap it up in a shell, i always say to myself at the end of the day.
"Its all in a day's work." and feel satisfied. =)

In-Vest-Ments
if you're wondering what i've been doing for the past few days, i've been reading business and financial reviews all day and night.
i've been considering some investments i would like to embark on; particularly on equities and fixed deposits. i'm even considering taking up a part-time diploma in finance or investment-type related equivalent. but i got to admit, i'm not a genius with numbers.
people ask me, why do investment now? you're still young, enjoy your youth.
not since i turned 19. i realised, if i don't start now, when will i?
i'm starting as little as $50 per month. not a lot really. but still its a small-risk investment until i've got a full-time job.
i see an investment as an opportunity for 2, maybe 3 generations ahead. though most likely, my name won't be remembered. but i figured, if 2 or 3 generations can live a good life with a sacrifice of 1, that's good. and i'm going to be that 1.
and one thing's for sure, there's no such thing as risk-free investments. take for example an equity investment. in layman's term, its called stocks. the ever-volatile stock market of the S&P 500 or the Dow Jones Industrial Average. interested in blue-chips economy? why not try NASDAQ.
i may not be a genius in math, but i for one know for damn sure when opportunity comes knocking.
its like. 4:11am. i'll have to sleep soon. got to go Friday prayers later.
oh dang, i forgot about the PS3 pics.
oh, and there's this girl working at Mezza9 in Hyatt. her name's Michelle. she's super cute, i like her. not my OSIP-mate lah. that one is Michelle Tan!
i might try talking to her next time. hahahahahahh. are you joking? but i crack myself up sometimes.

Military Identity Bourne-ed
just watched the movie 'Shooter' a while ago.
not a bad one. i'd say on average. not a killer movie though.
and as you might've guessed in my nick, enlistment letters are here. just coincided with me writing about the Army oath. as you can see, the Army loves me so much that they decided, "hey, we love this guy. let's give him 15-weeks of Basic Military Training(BMT)."
well, i'd say, "I don't give a f*ck."
excuse the language. really.
they say it's when boys turn to men.
i'd say, "We're already men, we don't need a doctor to look at our balls and cough to tell us we're men."
okay, enough sidetracking. i'll just jot down what the letter says.
but before i start, the letter comes in 2 flavours, Cherry Pink and Turquoise Blue. (no pun intended)
okay let's start!
first the Turquoise Blue one which is addressed to me.
1) You are hereby required under Section 10 of the Enlistment Act (Cap 93), to report for enlistment
on 07 JUN 2007 (THU) AT 1.00PM
to BASIC MILITARY TRAINING CENTRE SCHOOL 1 (BMTC SCH 1)
YOU WILL BE UNDERGOING A 15 WEEKS OBESE BASIC MILITARY TRAINING UPON YOUR ENLISTMENT INTO FULL-TIME NATIONAL SERVICE.
2) Please report to the unit at the address stated below for your full-time National Service.
a) Address: BASIC MILITARY TRAINING CENTRE SCHOOL 1
PULAU TEKONG BESAR
SINGAPORE 508450
...............
okay so that's about it. the rest are some details about the School.
so on 7th June 2007 at 1pm, goodbye Pink IC and hello SAF 11B. (military lingo for the green NS ID card)
the second letter, addressed to my dad. it says:
Dear Sir/Madam
ENLISTMENT OF YOUR SON/WARD
1. This is to inform you that your son/ward, MUHAMMAD RUZAINI BIN ABD RAZAK, has been scheduled for enlistment into full-time National Service on 07/06/2007 AT 1.00PM into BASIC MILITARY TRAINING CENTRE SCHOOL 1.
2. We would like to invite you to view your son/ward's enlistment process at the unit. We have enclosed a copy of the unit's invitation letter informing you of the programme for that day and a route map showing you the direction to the unit.
.......................
i don't know why they even bother to send 2 letters. it practically rephrases every word there.
of course, i'll be given lots of free clothing, too bad it only comes in 1 pattern and mostly green too. talk about being in the environment. oh and i don't need a comb. know why? i think you know why.
they're giving me 45 items for free packed into 1 big-ass duffel bag. and it comes in 1 colour too.
why don't they include, night-vision goggles, .50 Magnum or a just a .9 mm Glock?
and the best part. i know Lin Jing aka Peter aka Ah Pui is enlisting in the same School and same time as me. very likely in the same company or heck, even same bunk.
to sum it all up. i guess NS is not that bad afterall. just take it like a man should.
oh and one more thing. before i leave, someone told me to write down my pride and my ego on a piece of paper before i leave; because over there, you have no pride and no ego.
and that wraps it up for now. =)
the clock is ticking.
tick tick tick. ticking to 7th June.
not a bad one. i'd say on average. not a killer movie though.

Les Enfants Terribles
i'll give you an example of what i mean by 'i really have zero tolerance for such insolence'.
him: dear, let's go out today. let's go suntec.
her: anything lah. you say one what.
him: hey, i'm just suggesting. unless you have anywhere else in mind.
her: anything lah. but not suntec lah.
him: then you suggest somewhere.
her: anything......
(long pause)
her: you want to go or not.
him: i say already, lets go suntec lah okay dear?
her: i don't want go suntec. go there for what?!
him: then you say where you want to go lah!
her: why you angry at me?!
him: who said i'm angry?!
her: then you shout at me for what?!
him: i never shout what! you want to go out or not?
her: ANYTHING LAH!
(slammed down phone)
---
considering the fact that i didn't call back. tell me 10 good reasons why i should call back!!
i've never ever ever slammed down the phone at anyone. damn it.

The Sound Of Music
i found a website worth sharing for Flash on-site 'appreciators'.
http://www.samsung.com/sg/k3
its about advertising for the upcoming Samsung K3 phone.
EDITED: its not a phone, its an MP3 player. my bad. just reviewed it today. 18th April.
not that i'm a Samsung fan. i do prefer Sony Ericsson or Nokia.
but for design ingenuity, you'll have to give it to Samsung.
in other news, there's this upcoming orchestra play by the Singapore Festival Orchestra on 15th & 16th June. more details here. i'm definitely going once i get to know my enlistment date. maybe not going if my enlistment comes earlier. what a waste really.
ja!

Order! Order!
one of these days, i've really got to clean up my room. everytime i want to spring clean, there's always something cropping up somehow.
now i've got a cold. must have been not enough sleep. i've been sleeping for 6 hours a night recently. i guess i must've been pushing myself too hard. look at the time man. now i'm still contemplating whether i should switch on my PS3. playing online has never felt so good.
on a bright note, i'm going to get at least $200+ for my end of month pay. not much considering the amount of off days i take in a week. not that i'm lazy. its just to past the time away.
like they always say, 'no money, no honey'.
hahah.
i'm seriously in a state of delirium. its when your mind go 'kabonkers' and all you ever think is sleep. remember, don't try this at home. hahahahah.
just when i had the thought of going back to Thailand for some shopping, there's a bomb blast which injured no one but damaged a theatre. aaawww maaaan.~ sian ah.
oh and guess where i'm staying in Japan.
where else but Hyatt.
Hyatt Regency Osaka. i got the Hyatt Gold Passport account at Hyatt anyway. so why not eh?
for $180+++ per night. hohoho. happy holidays.
Hyatt hotels in Tokyo are way too expensive.
i'll spend 4 days in Osaka, 3 days in Tokyo. and maybe if i have spare time, i'll take a trip up north to Nagano or maybe west to Nagoya.
next few weeks, i'll have to work overtime. all the way, all the time. i just hope to get my reimbursement pay by the end of the month. it sure is taking a lot of time. its not fun to work for free you know?
and its 5am, i'd better sleep before my cold gets any worse.

Michie's In The House
if there's one thing i'm very particular about; its honesty.
i've been slogging off for work for almost everyday the last week. i'm extremely exhausted. F&B work is really not for the faint-hearted. since Daphne has school orientation this week, i'm taking over her 3pm to 11pm shift. from Tuesday till Friday. pure madness. to add insult to injury, i've been sleeping at 5am, 6am lately. wake up at 12pm. no matter.
anyway, i've bought a new PS3 game!!; Armored Core 4. costed me $90. siao siao. i'll post my PS3 pics tomorrow!!! and since my dad and me fixed up some shelves to put the projector, the screen size bloated up to about 65" of pure HDMI 1080i resolution. more pics on the shelves and the increased screen size.
oh and Michelle is back from London!!!! wah so happy!! i missed her so much!! until i had a dream about her last Wednesday.

'CHEEEEEEEEEESE!'
at SuperCuts at Century Square. i sat on the chair next to hers. of all digital things i heard about, never in my 11 years of computing have i heard of 'Digital Curl'. look at the machine! is there anything digital about it except the stopwatch?!
and me, being the 'swa ku'. had to see just what a, $300 worth of 'Digital Curl' is.
so next time, when i get married, i will never open my mouth to settle the bill. i just need a $8 haircut, thanks. =)
good night!

Aeroplane
Project Zeta initiation.
whilst i was working one evening, i had this idea surge of modelling an aeroplane.
i call it VFX Voodoo-1.
so what am i doing up late at night? drawings and sketches!!!
i loved late nights, its so peaceful and tranquil. no cars, no buses, no nothing.
here's my rough sketch;
it is a combination of F-22 Raptor, F-35 JSF, F-16 Viper, MiG-29 Fulcrum, F-117 Nighthawk, the awe-inspiring SR-71 Blackbird and Yukikaze's Super Slyph.
within these 2 months before i enlist. i will design, the 8th generation of fighter aircraft.
---
and don't attempt to aggravate me. okay sunshine?
i really, really...really have short temper about such insolence.
just because i keep quiet, doesn't mean i'm stupid.
my bark is more painful than my bite.
cheers.
but don't worry, i don't bite. i nibble.
