the Singapore Kallang National Stadium. that's right people.

yesterday, 29th July 2006 was the National Day Parade '06 preview. i went!!!! woohooo!!!~~~
actually i didn't want to go, but since i took MC off work, so i went with my little sister. got the tickets because my sister was performing in 1 of the performance. but only got 2 lah. my parents didn't want to go, so in a way, i was babysitting my small sister for the whole of the later day.

1 word to sum it all up. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! nono, maybe MAGICAL. did the Kallang wave!!!! i got the video!!!! but my favourite part of the show; the fireworks. and 2nd favourite, the jet flypast. the roar of the engines was like music. IT ROCKS MY SOCKS!!!!!!!!! i took a video and lots and lots and lots of pics. my 3rd favourite was the parade. wish i was the one commanding the parade. but i rather be the pilot of the jet plane for the flypast.

i sang the National Anthem for the first time in 2.5 years with the Chinook helos flypast toting the State Flag. recited the pledge at the end of the parade. loyalty and pride to the Nation's 41st birthday. Happy 41st Birthday, Singapore.

oh and there were AH-64 Apaches helos!!!!!! the reason why i want to become a pilot. flying is sooooo cool lah!!!!~

okay, the parade, nothing much to comment, though i like the 21 gun salute. from where i was seated, i had a pretty good view of the parade and everything. the goodie bag was quite good actually. but the thing was, i don't know how to say it in English, "Ader minyak kapak dalam beg. ader ker tak merepek tu."

there were some evening performances, the choir was nice. the hosts were quite entertaining. only that the atmosphere was a bit odd. because it was not the 9th of August. but i liked the fireworks. then at about 9pm, the parade ended.

now, getting out of the stadium. human sandwiches galore with sweat toppings with the aroma of body sweat. oh my gosh. totally wasted. by the time i got out and started walking out, my whole body stank of sweat. then boarded the shuttle bus to Aljunied MRT which took almost forever for the queue to turn around. waited for how many donkey half an hours for bus 40 to go to Bedok bus interchange, switched to bus 28 to go straight home. took quite a while.

so anyway, for today, i went for my last Advanced I Japanese class. next module i'm taking next year due to OSIP. i'll miss about 2 levels. nevermind, if cherry can skip to JLPT 3, i can skip to JLPT 2!!!!! muahahahahaha. or so i think.

then dinner time, i went out with my family to Sakura Thai-Chinese Restaurant at Simei Eastpoint. actually the food there is nice only if you go there once in a while. took the MRT then bus home. Sakura; cherry blossom anyone? i couldn't help but give a chuckle. or two.
it makes me feel that i'm eating cherries. eat and eat and eat and eat and eat. eat la. never eat then later regret how? so must eat. *totally random; Math.random*

so yeah, that's a weekend for you. though, maybe i might get tickets for the actual NDP '06. who wants to go?!??!?!?!? be nice to me for this coming week kkkk?? hehz. since my sister already went, if i got the tickets, i got no one in mind to ask along actually. so anyone who loves to wear red may want to go i guess.

therefore with much enthusiasm i wore red. and so did lemuel and kenneth when i met them just now. and so there were these 3 guys walking at tampines bus interchange like as though they had just come back from National Day Parade. i wanted to take a pic, but forgot. sian.

anyway, i was late for IN3D. again. ok la, this time its not because of waking up late. i woke up at 9am, bathed, got readi and i had about 30 minutes to spare. so i switched on the TV and started watching Disney channel cartoon. i lost track of time and there i was chiong-ing the bus stop at 10.50am. mig called me say that i got 2 warning letter already. aiya...sorry la cher, its my mistake.....kkk???? sorry kkkkkkkkkkk???? sorry la kkkk??? next time if i late i buy you lunch. ahahahahaha. not going to happen anytime soon. *i confident can come early at 9am and 11am, and not a minute late*

i did a new pair of arms and a new set of body for my model. now doing a new pair of legs. should i? firstly, the legs look ugly. because i was still a newbie when i modelled the leg. so a lot of errors. like too many vertices at 1 point. wattodo? redo lor. gonna take me the whole weekend i think. but it can be done.

anyway, ken bought a white psp just now!!! welcome to the club. you now have access to PSP news from me and lemuel. WHITE~~~~~ white is the new red. xD

next, cherry wore blue today. break promise!!!!! humpf. no matter.

i was undenyingly late for IN3D. took a cab for the first time it had increased fares. actually i woke up at 8am. but i slept again after taking the towel, so i was sleeping with the towel. it was romantic until i woke up at 9am. chiong-ed the bathroom. didn't make up my bed but fortunately i had packed my stuff the night before.

when i reached school, my head was dizzy with adrenaline. but after the morning sickness, i was okay thanks to miguel's and raymond's lameness. and.... cherry wore black! wa~~, not bad not bad; sugoi ne!~. but i was wearing black too, which was a pretty bad idea. why? the afternoon sun kills. ask cherry, it was a good thing she didn't melt. imagine that.

during lunch, i ordered this mee goreng from the indian stall in the coffeeshop opposite school, which errr...by the way, was very dry!!! i didn't finish it. after lunch, me and raymond followed an old obaa-san go grocery shopping; something which i had not done in a few donkey months.

so i was excited la! and i went, 'mummy mummy!! i want this.... mummmyyyyyy.......' =(
and guess what! cherry spoke mandarin!!!! to the lady at Prime. it was so humourous la!!! first time hear her speak mah. me and raymond were giggling happily behind when she was talking. okay la it was me alone. ssshhhhh.

its so hard to practice japanese alone. the only time i have is with 1 of my friend. who is japanese and doesn't speak much english. french also. is called no choice already. so if i don't practice, i would've wasted my effort, time and money. so must speak more often!!!!!!!!!!!!!

living the perfect life

my definition of a perfect life.

a Ferrari. a $67 million Bombardier Global Express private jet. a one thousand acre mansion house. ten zeroes behind a 9. a beautiful wife. my 2 daughters and 2 sons. a solely-owned company with a turnover of at least one hundred million in a quarter year. a happy family.

of course, i'm not a big spender myself. i buy only whatever i need.(ya right, right?)
as you can see i don't own more than 2 pairs of shoes, have only 1 pair of sandals and slippers. i don't wear a timepiece because my mobile phone tells time and had my discman replaced by the PSP just because the lens broke and it was out of commission. not for fancy really.

in any case, i was wondering while walking along Orchard MRT station's underpass heading to Scotts Rd, is smoking allowed in the tunnel? i was walking and saw a cloud of white smoke and the next thing i knew was i was choking in cigarette smoke. i was so pissed lah! and the man was wearing a polo tee with the Hyatt logo. if i wasn't in a hurry, i would've given that man a pretty good shove. a similar incident at Tampines MRT station happened the same day on my way back home. it was near the Ticketing Machine. this man just lit up as if his father owned the station. how pissed i was. i don't really like people smoking in front of me. really. its fine if you do smoke. but please, get out of my face if you do happen to smoke. usually i would just say nothing. unusually nowadays i have a very high tolerance level. maybe its the weather. =P

i read yesterday's Straits Times articles about domestic abuse in households. my opinion, i wouldn't want to abuse anyone really. these people are really......how do you say it....don't think far ahead. in short its just naive. (spell it backwards and you get evian)
the papers say, foreign wives are most susceptible to abuse here in singapore. oops, how am i going to get married then?

then i saw the article on mr brown. most obviously, the 'garmen' is afraid la. afraid of a public outcry and questioning the Governance of the Republic. with the upcoming world monetary meeting in september, i could just wonder what is the 'garmen' going to do about censorship.

when you add Communism and Nazism then divide it by Capitalism and square root it with Monarchism, you get Democracy. my 10 cents worth of what i think is de-mo-cra-cy. in short, its a piece of 'this'!!

today is a very hectic day because i forgot to bring home my sketchbook yesterday.

came to school at around 10am today to super rush IN3D. copy, paste, print, cut, paste and write. then initially wanted to draw my sketches in CMSK but mind block. all my drawing all are crap. i cannot draw when people look at me, i will be so nervous.

joke material for next tuesday's IN3D class: cherry wore pink on friday.

cherries are not pink! where got pink cherry?! actually got la. if you know what i mean. hehz.

anyway, i was searching for some movie titles on a movies database(its really a database mind you). i chanced upon this movie called 'Cherry Falls' (2000). Its an 'R' rated movie for extreme violence and teen sexuality. i'm 'storing' the movie in my computer. it should be complete by next monday when i get back to school.

so anyway, after i handed in the IN3D sketchbook journal, went to miguel's MP lab to do some serious 6 vs 6 CS matches. then played until 6pm. went down to Splash lab to continue gaming.

anyway! my robot RSSM-970 Type Zero is......... halfway done!!! i shaped its head and sculptured its body. now it has more protruding faces on the body as well as an entry pod for its pilot. =D

now i think if i have time, i want to re-do its legs. the time i was doing it, i was still a bit amateur-ish so it turned out much less ok. now its head has a crown and protruding antennaes. looks like Gundam bots but it isn't. its an RSSM-970 Type Zero. *must take pride in my work*
and that miguel say that its because cherry did all my work for me!!! *jealous jealous* =P

and so, for the record, i stayed in IN3D lab from 11am to about 6pm. without break. and because i drank coffee earlier, my endurance extended abit without food until i succumbed to buying food at ITAS. now the bad side of eating at ITAS; stay there within the hour to get a complimentary perfume! once you get out of the foodcourt, your shirt will smell of laksa, chicken rice, fish & chips, spaghetti bolognese, curry chicken and not forgetting seaweed chicken and carrot cake. so, most of the time, 'ta pao' back to Splash lab and eat. after eat already, listen to piano instrumentals on my comfy red chair from IARC lab and hugging my little red pillow i bought during CCN Day and it was 7.05pm, the room is dark and its time to close my eyes and SLEEP!!!!!

around 8pm, i was locally playing Battlefield 2. then CounterStrike Source with raymond (cherry calls him LEMON for some reason). fortunately enough my nickname hasn't spread in MWC. i think it was mentioned in a past entry. it has already spread in Hyatt and my old friends. wah die man. i hope it doesn't continue in NS. imagine Staff Sergeant Teddybear. wah lao eh, so malu!!!

my plan for next week is to tidy up my model and finish up reports i owe Mr Josh. its been an 'ouch'-ingly 6 weeks since i owed the Interim Report, Project Specs and the TOR. so while raymond settle the codes, i will settle the reports with my cherry-ful english. but i doubt 'cherry' will become a noun or adjective. so i meant to say colourful.

my latest favourite song from Alizee; Toc de mac. her singing is pretty impressive! very dynamic. i love it! and undenyingly i'm a Nami Tamaki fanboy. lalalalalalala~~~ i love her and there's nothing you can do about it! =P

anyway, feel the power of my newest, most fearsome Robot MkVII !!!!
its still in prototype phase though. i need to do some formulaes to check on the phased fusion hydraulics. i seemed to have failed on fusion regeneration of its system core. my idea is similar to that of a solar panel but instead i used the atoms' fusion reaction to actually create and replicate protons while actually maintaining power throughput for its chain reaction. this in turns will create energy that far extends to that of nuclear fission.

system core is split into 2 dynamic sub-cores each controlling different functions. kind of like mainboard circuitry. now the idea is to bypass the uni-directional and dependence on only one core. think of like, dual core without hyperthreading. therefore eliminating the need of ever recharging batteries. it does however arise the need to discharge the excess energy calculating by the Second Law of Thermodynamics, "Heat cannot of itself pass from a colder to a hotter body."

so many problems, so little time to finish IN3D. i'm dying already.

in simple terms, its model number is 969, Type A because its the first model. and RSSM stands for Republic of Singapore Space Marines. =D

anyway, i made a new friend in Greece!!!!!! his name is Pavlo and he's 3 years old. actually i met him while at work. he's so playful. always following me around the lounge and even to the pantry!!! then there were 2 little girls wearing red dresses. so cute! kawaii~ i want daughters soooo much!!!! i wonder, most of the INT lecturers have more daughters than sons. could it be due to too much radiation from the wireless stuff. i think ideally i would want 2 daughters and 2 sons. most extreme is to have 4 wives with 3 children each and a soccer team is born + 1 referee or substitute player. head coach, manager and president,... me.. =D

been playing alot of games lately. games or movies. wow.

just now played Fifa 2004 on andy's comp with the widescreen TV, watched the Date movie and more CS. transfer more movies, and then more CS. wow. i have to start writing reports soon. MWSM, IN3D, CMSK and French project due next week.

fortunately my japanese class doesn't have assessment. have homework though but i don't really have the appropriate time to actually sit down and do it. it'll be nice if i have some company. in the Splash lab, haiyooo, confirm play game or watch movie. siaaannnnnnnnnnnn.

pink ranger rocks!

maybe its just me. but i just couldn't resist pink. she looks so cool lah! assuming that the person wearing the costume is a girl. was taken during the recent Cosfest '06. 3 letters to describe it, C.M.I . but i have to give them credit for the courage to dress up and effort. not bad for starters but they still have a long way to go.

one point to note. the pink ranger is shorter than me. how come ah? wow.

anyway, i think from now on, i will refrain myself from taking cabs during peak hours. why? the surcharge is 2 dollars!!! 2 FREAKING dollars!! do you know how many siew mai i can buy with 2 DOLLARS!?!??! imagine on boarding is now $2.50 + $2 for surcharge. that's a straight $4.50 on boarding and plus journey fare from my house to school. say usually around $3 - $4. that's like $7.50 minimum. do you know how many seaweed chicken i can buy with $7.50!?!?!

japaaaanneeeeeessssseeeeeee rocks now that i understand it. anything that has j-a-p-a-n inside the word rocks. for example japan because it has the letters j-a-p-a-n. i could understand what it seemed to be gibberish language a while back. now i can watch Animax in japanese. my vocabulary is somewhat limited but not to a great extent now. =D

today is sad. wah cherry hurt my feeling leh. wa super sad. say going to laugh at my 3D model forever. wa forever leh. piangzzzzzz. wa sad..sad. then say some more i got white hair leh! piangzzzzzzz. that's mean ar, waaa... i sad liao. but then its ok wan, i revenge her ar through the feedback. so i shade all the circle to the left. left that's mean not right mah. then some more say i got play dota or not leh. where got wan. i got play before la....but i am proud to be a CS player with bots leh. i make them no shoot wan, then i stand in front of them then shoot them leh. that's mean i not cheating! that's mean i training for headshot!!

so much for IN3D class. after that me and raymond went to Long John Silvers at century square for lunch. ate a while, walked around century square, then headed back to school at 4pm. well, since class ended for the day so why not. we were at the IARC lab since then with Mr Yap and the gang. played a bit of CS there. with bots. and went back to the Splash lab. walked off school at about 10.30pm. went to eat with raymond and anujot. i didn't eat because... i didn't have spare cash and the ATM was miles away but we went there before that. its just that i can't be bothered to take money out.

so now i need to sleep and it took me an hour to write this ok?

French & Japanese

almost all the time in french class i'm tempted to add the 'desu' behind sentences. and i end up reminding myself i'm in french class. there was this time in the lift i met my french tutor, she asked, 'bonjour! comment cava?'. and instinctively i responded,' hai, cava desu.' she gave me a 'what was that?' look. and i know i will get screwed for the upcoming speaking test.

today. me and raymond went to Cosfest '06 which was at Downtown East's D'Marquee tent. it was nice la initially. it is an event where my Olympus mini-digital camera looked inferior to the Canon EOS 1Ds and 20Ds. i took some pics but not much. took some of me with the Imperial trooper and... guess who.... Pink Ranger!!!!! yey!!!~

anyway hanisah, (hunny sah), was around there so i dropped by. this hunny of mine made me walk around Downtown East to hunt her down. she just wouldn't tell me where she is. i can smell you a mile away hunny!!! hehz. so when i finally found her, her eyes grew so big that i think it was about to pop out of their sockets. initially wanted to go for ice cream with her la. then cannot because she wanted to go elsewhere with her family. dottts. so went home instead. nice right? -_-""

so yea, i felt sleepy thanks to my screwed up body clock. i don't feel sleepy at night. and yet i will sleep at around 6pm. so i slept from 6pm to about 10pm. now i'm still sleepy. but later got World Cup '06 finals, France vs Italy. now i feel so tired and can't be bothered to go out actually. though i'm feeling hungry a bit.

next up! i think i wanna learn german. or considering espagnol(spanish) or portugese. list of languages i ever studied since kindergarten:

1. English
2. Chinese Mandarin (K1 - K2)
3. Malay
4. Arabic (P3 - S2) can read but cannot write! weirdness.
5. Japanese
6. French

the weird thing during my kindergarten years was i can converse in both malay and mandarin but i speak more fluent malay but i didn't study malay. i guess its more of a spoken language at home. i can still remember my kindergarten days along with some names. =D
but not my nursery school days. =/

someday, i think i will get a breakdown. but not before i learn at least 10 or maybe 15 languages other than the ones mentioned above; fluently. muahahahahaha. i will if i had the time and resources! study nothing but languages. become a universal translator for the international arbitration court.

anyways, i think i'm going to bathe a bit. i'm just afraid i might fall asleep again. now my room is freaking cold. nice to sleep. actually now i'm happy doing nothing. nothingness is just perfect.

Superman. it was GREAT!!! SUPERB!! nice SFX, GFX. only it could've been longer. or maybe i should call him, The Man Who Wears His Underwear Outside. so means Batman is the same too, except his is black. heck, even the Hulk wears bermudas!! no comment on Wonder woman. but the selling point of Superman is his super-striking red underwear. be dazzled dear fans. muahahahah!!

well, nothing to talk about today, went for CMSK, then MWSM lab. finished up the report then i went to watch Superman Returns at Tampines Mall GV. so anyways, before entering, i ordered a cheesy hotdog right, and it wasn't ready. so i was told to go in the cinema and they would send it to my seating when it was ready. guess what? it never came! i was like, 'okay, fine its just a hotdog.' and anyway i had a friend behind the counter so didn't really lose my cool there. and the girl didn't even say sorry. well, its not like she don't want to send it but hey, since you said it, take responsibility!!!! these things are bound to happen, i knew before i bought the thing. and also i too work in the service industry. you can't just remember everything, its nuts! my point here is, good food, good drink, good God, lets eat!!! ahahahahah. =P

truth is, i'm so tired today that i keep dying early in CS. symptoms of delayed reactions in muscle motor functions due to low concentration of oxygen per cubic metre of iron. it seems like the world around me has gotten a lot faster. seriously. and when high on adrenaline, the world seems to be slow causing a greater reflex of reaction. but too much of adrenaline is not good at all. it increases stress levels in your hormone-producing organs to produce adrenaline.

i think.....i'll sleep during IN3D lesson tomorrow. now its football time!!!!!

today's first lesson was IN3D which i was extremely late for. i was like, 'oops, did i come in at the wrong time?' maybe if i took a cab just now, i could've shaved off like 20 minutes! but oh well, since i didn't have much with me. so its called no choice but to take bus.

anyway, what i intended to do today after IN3D was to finish up my french research. just need to rephrase the words and print them out on paper. last but not least start doing that MWSM report due on friday.

today in the Splash Lab, watched Jarhead 2 times. interesting show. oh yea, reminds me of another show that i want to watch again; Windtalkers. during the american invasion of the Japanese islands of March-April 1945(History lesson, can't believe i remembered), the americans used the native language of Navajos to prevent eavesdropping. rather the japanese thinks at 1 point that they were talking underwater.

i was thinking of joining that Guitar PDP Enrichment since i already know how to play the piano. it might be great to go for it but well since i don't have any company i can go with, so i'll just pass the idea. anyway, i can learn it on my own. =P

Invasion of Australia and India were near impossible at that point of time before the fall of Singapore.

a short while ago i was watching Discovery Science channel 71.

it was a show about how researchers used live brain tissue to integrate into a computer chip. the 21st century mastery of technology. they actually cultured live brain tissue like you culture bacteria on jello. and since they are growing neurons, information may be 'installed' into those brain tissue! this means less learning and memories that are 'burnt' into the tissue like ROM is burnt onto discs!!! cool. just way too cool.

today, i stayed at home all morning and day and evening. chatted on MSN, watch TV, chat again. then i went to sleep from about 6pm to about 10pm. felt so refreshed after that. well, since i don't usually sleep in the day unless i'm really tired.

anyway, italy went through after upsetting ukraine 3 - 0. germany went through after upsetting argentina in penalty. now the match between portugal and england and rooney has just been shown the red card. how sweet!! now portugal can win this. heh. i'm not a supporter of english football. they are a disgrace to football. brazil is the way to go!!!!! wahahah. though i have to give credit to ukraine. they were a bit better off than the first half against italy. especially Shevchenko. never loses his cool~

okay, other than football, projects due soon...very soon...... MP,IN3D,MWSM, French and CMSK4. i'm having a hard time with IN3D actually. MP is a big headache now. there has been a communication breakdown between project coordinators. me and raymond have been having trouble with alien code for flash actionscript. this would be simpler if we were given the time to develop our own bloody codes!! then we wouldn't have this understanding problem. now we are not even sure if we are able to finish our coding by then.

oh well. oh ya, student elections are coming soon. and all these voting posters come popping out. in my honest opinion. i don't really vote for some dick and harry who wants Main Committee seats. want my vote? prove to me how good of a leader you are. seriously, all i see are some unknown candidates. its not about the post that makes you great, its about how you make a difference in people's lives at your position. seriously, would you vote for a Government that only has its own agenda. of course not! somehow you make people believe that what you do is for the people. so ladies and gentlemen running for office positions, i am obliged to say good luck if all you want is fame. 1 day i should really burn off those posters. it feels like pre-war germany all over.

somehow i wonder, like what would happen if i were to go away for a long long long long time. and only to come back in like 50 years. i wanna travel the world. there are some experiences that people would never experience till the day they die. experiences like going to the moon, like only a few people would experience that in their lifetime. and you might've guessed! i wanna be an airline pilot. flying through the world. it would be oh so nice~ forget about working in EA or the Air Force. well, it would be nice iniatially starting in the Air Force.

later at 11am, i got my japanese class till 1.30pm. then i'm going to my cousin's house to get some things huda got for me while she was overseas. so nice of her!! ahahaha.
