today, i took a bus to school!!! let's celebrate!
taking a bus means i have more money to spend on food. taking a taxi means i have less money to spend on food.
during IN3D today, i did manage to complete my arm. i guess. did nothing much because i had to leave for OSIP interview at 1pm. the interview was ok though, kinda like a group interview.
then after a 3-hour lab of IN3D. school is finished! well, then i went to Splash compy lab to do a bit. yes a bit of MP. then played CS? that's about it.
just now i was listening to mr. brown's podcasts which were really humourous. damn bloody funny man!! you can visit his website at http://www.mrbrown.com to listen to his podcasts with Mr Miyagi and friends. look out for the Ex NS Men and Mostly Real News podcasts and Early Don't Say. really good shit for laughs.
thought for the day, i think i need to start reading books again. its been a while since i had time to read non-technical books. storybooks are nice though. during my pre-teen years, i've always adored stories by Enid Blyton. 'The Banana Robber' was the first book i had. well, though its a children's book, i was reading it even at Primary 6! hehz.
then slowly i began to explore books like 'Around the world in 80 days' etc. Further on came Dale Brown, Dan Brown and Tom Clancy. Magazines are good too but still it depends on which 'genre' it is. National Geographic is nice. Personally at times, i would really read '8 Days' if i see it lying around somewhere in the house. but still, the best magazine in Starhub's Cable TV Telescope. hehz.

i'm so full of energy nowadays i can't sleep normally. my normal sleeping time? 4am,5am,6am. 7am is sure knockout. but i'm a light sleeper, so no matter how tired i am, i will wake up at the slightest noise. and i don't take naps in the afternoon. i hate naps. i'm not a hamster. but i will sleep if i am tired.
italy scored against the aussies. 1 - 0. its good though! australia just got lucky they got through the group stages. now ukraine and the swiss are battling.
oh yea...raymond bought the HG version of kurohige kiki ippatsu. wahahahah. HARDO-GAY HOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!~ must play with it sometime. hehz.

today, it rained......
in the morning, i slept at 6am and woke up at 10.30am to barely make it in time for my japanese class. waited a bloody long time for a taxi in the light drizzle. i dont understand why my body felt freezingly cold this morning, so i wore a jacket to class. and in class, sometimes i would just feel so cold! weird.
ok so anyway, today i took time off work just to rest before school reopens later. and i shall not be working for the next week just to catch up on school work.
lately, i've been listening to M2M songs. for a long while since they first appeared, their songs have only been nothing but nice!!! now i'm listening to the chinese version of 'The Day You Went Away'. courtesy of Effie from China for downloading for me. =D
to my dearest charlene, sing me a lullaby and i'll sleep with you forever.
just now on Disney Channel, they had this Disney's Original Movie; High School Musical. i thought it was nice except for the singing part which is...ermm...a nice touch? it looked as though its a Hindustani movie.(no pun intended) well, i liked Ashley Tisdale from the Suite Life of Zack & Cody. she's so pretty~~~ pretty girl. and also the main lead actress, i forgot her name.
on 3rd July, i'll be having my Basic Theory Test for Class 3 Motorcar licence. finally. after so long of waiting. if i'm not going for OSIP, i will try to get my licence before hari raya.
then i will most probably continue my Advanced Japanese until JLPT 4 or 3. Japanese Language Proficiency Test. i still have a long way to go. as of now, i'm able to read and understand but i'm having a bit of trouble with sentence structures. chotto trouble ne. LoL. japanese is way more difficult compared to french. but then again, if i took the japanese language CDS in school, half of what i studied in Basic Japanese in 10 weeks, the school covered for 3 months. also the school doesn't even teach the writing systems. LoL. that's not japanese....., that's a joke.
thought for the day, how much do you think the human brain can store information? or rather; relatively how much is the capacity of the brain? 10 Terabytes? 20 Terabytes? Infinite? No, everything on this Earth has its limitations.
So how far are you going to push it? would you simply let it go to waste? how far are you willing to push it to the maximum? are you willing to go that far?
learn something new everyday. my point is, what the hell is wrong with those sales people in public places nowadays?! countless times i was stopped short in my tracks by these people. i mean, you want to do business? get a friggin stall, set it up and sell away!! you don't go around forcing people to donate to some dick and harry organization. i pay my taxes and that belongs to the government as though its not high enough. once i was stopped by this malay dude, i was minding my own business. suddenly he just shouted 'YO!'. i was like, what the hell is wrong with you?!! he was lucky enough my fist didn't land a stop on his face. my natural reaction to someone jumping in front of me and shouting in a sudden.
so being a good citizen as i am, i decided to stop to this lady a few days ago. she was asking me some things like, do you wear giordano, hang ten? while pointing to the shops near the MRT station. soon she started to probe into my financial details. how much i earned per month etc. well, i was much aware of it all. i did not disclose any unrelated details though. so it went on, like 10 minutes. then until the point she said, i'm from XXX company. i was surprised! i didn't really thought that this company would go to such extent of getting customers. the company is a reputable company with like over a few decades of establishment. taken aback is more i would say.
then ok, we went to this place for her to introduce some premium plans from a bank. i was running 30 minutes late for work! gave her name card, saying i would consider. personally i feel that the plan is too good to be true. of course i would find out more about it through some research. i don't have an IQ of 130 for nothing. hehz. its just that i'm a bit slow and i like to procrastinate. alot.
so anyway, my deterrence plan for these sales people is to just blast some music, and walk straight. don't look left, don't look right, don't make eye contact. i figured that, if you make eye contact with a salesperson, you are 70% more likely to be approached. normally it would be around 30%. its really simple. just count! for every 10 people they see, they will at least approach 3 people. deshou? its human nature. just observe, how many times have you entered a shop, make eye contact with the sales staff, they have approached?
well, if they are really persistent, i would say this, ' okay bub, you have 10 seconds to explain to me what the hell you are selling and 5 seconds have just passed.'
that's basically it. oh 1 more thing, i kinda liked Saori's nick, 'take it cheesy'. i thought it was really hilarious. she said, its basically like take it easy.

the moon looks so nice tonight
i was out with my family just now eating dinner somewhere in Hougang. we were using my auntie's car as she and her family are out of the country. so, for this 1 week, my dad gets to use the car. =D
well, anyway that's not the point. the point is, i'm wondering how come it almost rains everyday. and its the middle of summer!! oh well, recently, i was on my way to work and was on this escalator. it was crowded like its near the exit of orchard MRT station, i was standing on 1 of the platforms with this lady. the left side of the escalator was like nobody. so i thought of rushing up, then this lady at the same time wanted to go up. so i gave her the right of way.
well, i saw the nicest smile and set of teeth in my up till now life. like i said before, she's pretty in pink. in a cardigan.
oh by the way, i'm applying for next semester's overseas student internship programme(OSIP). thinking of going japan but its not offered tentatively. but no harm in requesting. =P
so if i manage to go, i'll miss taking my driving licence, hari raya in singapore and won't be back till next year January. so much for getting my driver's licence before hari raya. urgh! i hate it when it happens. can't be helped though.i can always take it another time. in any case, i look forward to OSIP actually. wahahah.
must now take my japanese classes seriously.
maybe i should start playing more games. its been a while since i had played a game literally from morning till night. that time i was in secondary school. favourite game? Red Alert 2 and the Command & Conquer franchise. great games. just sweet. personally, i like to play games. FPS, RTS, RPG; you name it, i've played it. maybe for now, i'll play more games on my PSP. been playing Star Wars Battlefront II, Metal Gear Acid 2, Bleach series, Ridge Racer and currently downloading about 4 more games. (since i think my PSP has been under-utilised for games)
waiting for PS3 to be launched. hopefully then, i'll be in japan!!!ahaahhahahah. some people think i'm crazy studying japanese until advanced levels. but hey, everyone's gotta love something they love doing. as for me, i like to learn new things. especially languages. =D
yesterday, i watched the movie 'Cars' by Pixar. it was NICE!!!!! i like Sally the Porsche. soooo n-i-c-e. especially the last part where there were spoofs by all of Pixar animation movies like Toy Story, Bug's Life etc. first they had 'Madagascar', 'The Wild', 'Over The Hedge', 'Ice Age 2'. they were all nice~ but then again, i had to pay $7 for the ticket and $6.10 for the munchies! could've watched it for free though. T.T
my favourite name; Tomoko. aahhahahaha. whatever that means. maybe i'll name my first daughter Tomoko. oh! i just did a search, Tomoko means intelligent. nice~
but then again, it makes sense only if i had a japanese daughter. why would i name my daughter Tomoko if i married a malay? L-O-L its a bloody joke. and i'm sure my daughter would ask me why i named her Tomoko if her race is Malay. -_-"

recently assigned a PC for the Splash Awards. so up to date, i have to update my desktop computer,laptop, IARC lab computer and the competition lab computer. now i have to remember in which comp i have the appropriate data in. oh well.
just now had Mobile & Wireless Security and Management(MWSM) paper which was well......relatively easy? but then again, its only 15%.
erm okay, its quite obvious already!! i admit it. i'm a Nami Tamaki fanboy. =P
but hey, she sings well, she has looks but its just that her talents are not put to much extent. mostly, she ends up singing Gundam SEED songs. but i like her. she's nice.~~ well, Japanese-pop music is actually not bad provided the singer is good and the lyrics to the songs are nice. other than that, you can forget it. we're not going to hear J-Rap or something or J-RnB. maybe there is. i'm just assuming that there isn't.
anyways, its the holidays!!!!!! i'm going to most probably work like crazy unless i got something on. i was thinking of taking wednesdays off. then work from 3pm - 11pm. good money. its just that i'm saving up for the graduation trip i had planned next year. to Nihon!!!!!! i don't care, die die must go. hehz =P
i wanna visit some friends i made over there. going to Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo. hopefully its worth it.
anyways, i can talk, write and read a substantial amount in japanese so......it shouldn't be a problem! but as any well-prepared traveler would say, always be prepared for the unexpected. the word traveling reminds me of CMSK 4.
as for my robot modeling in IN3D, i'm lost!!. well..like, its not as if there isn't any guide, its just that...... I'M LAZY!!! okay i admit. omg, Maya is like; dude, this isn't where i parked my car! sure modeling is fun and everything. 'can i drop the subject now miss cherry?' JOKE DAYO!!!!!~~~ i'm sure she'll kill us all(me,raymond and miguel) when term reopens. why? because the modeling haven't finish. so how? die lor.
my favourite quote from IN3D class; 'cher, cher don't run. later you fall then cherry blossom~' okay, feel free to laugh out loud. shhhh, its a secret quote.
that said, its time i logged on to Battlefield 2 to frag someone.
