Happy Lunar New Year to all!!
Gong Xi Fa Cai!
Seems like this year, we have a long weekend for the New Year. The good: long weekend. The bad: shops are closed for 2 weekdays. That's a bummer.
Looks like I'll be spending my time at home then.
Anyway, my parents bought new furniture. A black-leathered L-shaped sofa set for the living room and a new cabinet rack for the home theatre system. Since my dad changed the speakers, it'd look nice with the new furniture.
In other news, I'm about to choose my course of study in a University next month. Once the 'A' level results are out. Nisa asked me to go to the various Unis to scout for courses. It should be okay i think. I would apply for leave then.
I've been thinking of what I wanna do in future. Once I graduate, I will buy a house. A landed property. For myself and for my family. Then I will work up through the ranks and I will buy myself a nice car! like.... the Audi R8. I really LOVE that car. I MUST get that car. I don't care how old the car will be by the time I could afford it. I WILL buy it!
For the forseeable future, my first car I would wanna buy with my own money would be an Audi. That's my drive for my goals.
My mind's all set.
Ready, Steady, GO!

What I'm Doing
I've been down with flu the last 3 days. Wednesday was the worst.
Come to think of it, I've had a bad week. First about the car then about my colleague then this flu. I hope it ends here and now.
You know that colleague that I was talking about so vehemently? Well, he had struck the final straw. He splashed some syrup water on me!! He's on my hated list with #1 written all over his face.
Anyway, enough about work. I've been rotting my life away at home and since I can't go out while on medical leave. So, its 24 hours at home. Not that I'm complaining, I did manage to find time to dig out my old stuff from the cupboards and put my poly lecture notes in it. Clothes are my worry too. Either I have to find a bigger wardrobe or throw away my clothes. There's this saying; "New clothes make you look good, Old clothes make you feel comfortable."
I'm not sure whether to throw them away or just stuff them somewhere.
Oh, we're having a picnic tomorrow, organised by my ex-classmates of Sec 2E4. The downside, all the boys are not confirmed except me. So, it'll be 5 girls and 1 guy. So I think, maybe we'll have other plans. I'm equally excited though.
I'm tired. This medicine is making me so. I'll just lie down for a bit.

A Kitty Cat
Our workplace has a new pet!
This afternoon, a small kitten went past the sentry guards and made its way into camp. A cutie! It was lost I guess and it was a newborn. Its vocal chords weren't developed yet. I've always wanted to keep a kitty cat. mmmm.. =]
I was pretty excited. ahahahah. Coz it was soooo cute! It kept meowing and meowing and it was scared, displayed by its raised tail and its fur tingling. It calmed down once it was near evening. I gave it some pineapple tart crumbs and it ate. awwww~ so cute!. mmm.....
Okay, i gotta sleep man. I hadn't had a good sleep last night. My body's still aching. WOW!. hah.

Home Sweet Home
About my Thailand trip. If I could stay forever, I would probably would. How could I not?
I hadn't uploaded the pictures on FB yet. Why? Because I admit, I procrastinate alot.
I went for the Thai massage which I didn't go 2 years back. Remind me to get a masseuse for a wife. Dang, it felt super nice. I melted. Especially when she was doing my shoulders and the back part of my neck, I wiggled gleefully. Okay, I'm ticklish in that part like when I had that wash and haircut in Malacca. That lady knew somehow, she playfully massaged me there. Pffft. But it was nice. =)
We stayed near Baiyoke Sky Hotel, Tower 2. So it was kinda near for us to walk to the main shopping district. It was about 10 minutes walk and taking a cab would result in circling one big round the block.
Some things have changed since the last 2 years. Most of it didn't. There were the same buildings, traffic is always bad. But one of the things I like about Thailand is the people. They're so warm and friendly and nice. And I like nice things. (and because I have Thai blood too)
We didn't stray far from the city, partly because it was so inconvenient, with all the shopping and stuff. The usual places like Siam Paragon, Central World, MBK. Then we have the night bazaar and the weekend flea market.
And for my not-so-fluent Thai, we were thankful everything went off without much hiccups. Everything from bargaining to telling orders to telling directions. Sure, we got lost once but that was it. I can talk in Thai, but I can't read it! It's so..... difficult. We walked most of the time, taking in all the scenery, essentially, it's almost the same as Singapore because it is in a city.
About the people, well, I like Thai women. They're nice! I fell in love with one. ahahaha. I'm not saying who. Singaporean girls can't really match up. What I think is that, Thai women, they are modernised but still retain their thousand-year-old culture which I find really pleasing.
In Singapore, I think we have an identity crisis. A good example would be the people living in North America, particularly. But over here, we have a good mix(read: unbalance) of Malay, Chinese and other social races. We have become entwined by the various mix of culture. I abscond it for certain but there's nothing much I could do about it. And its not like we stay in the culture, we make it worse by mixing it with Western influence.
Well, enough about it, Singaporean girls are just disgusting. 'nuff said.
A good example would be the shop sales assistant test. We went to this shop in a high-end retail shopping mall. They have a Lamborghini Murcielago for sale. So we went in to take a look. The sales girl greeted us warmly much like any shop assistant would in Bangkok. They put their palms together and bow slightly. Its nice. We then asked her about the car that was on display, and she described intently even though her English wasn't half bad about the car. And we asked her some questions like, 'Have you driven it?', 'How fast can it go?'.
She even opened up the door to let us have a look inside and said, 'We don't usually open up the car.' And we're like, 'Wow, thanks! Means alot to us.'
If it was in Singapore, seeing how the way we're dressed (not that shabby and we're in smart casual, just that we didn't wear branded clothes), I don't think they give a damn about us. Hear that Singaporeans? Shame on you. Boooooooo.....
I even think Malaysians are just better at providing services.
Time went by so fast there. And we still looked like sex tourists. Eventually, one of the nights, we did looked for prostitutes. At 1500 Baht, I guess its cheaper there. Back here, it would be around $80 without hotel! Waste money lah.
Honestly, I'm a virgin. And I think its cool to be one. I don't understand why everyone competes to lose it so loosely. I'm not the type to go for prostitutes either. Nice to see but not to touch. And I don't believe in paying money for sex. It's very....... not right. That's my policy. =)
And even then, the prostitutes there are Thai and NOT China women!
That's that for Thailand. So much things to see, so little time. We're gonna go back there this coming April hopefully if everything goes as planned. But I'm not sure, I had planned to go backpacking in Japan with Raymond. hoho!. We'll see. But I would want to go to Japan. =)
Go out and explore the world! If only money wasn't a problem....
