七夕 って なに?

i am a USMC Sniper, who likes to hold an assault rifle, rides a helicopter and plays Strike At Karkand. call me Sergeant dantini.

just a few more ranks away from entering the officer corps. and 2142 is right down the corner.

Sergeant dantini

  • Proficient in air combat
  • Proficient sniper

well, at least in Splash Lab. Battlefield 2 is an addictive FPS game. Online play may differ. in other words, once i'm out of Splash lab.... well, i've not named my successor. hahahahaha.

once 2142 comes out, i'm going to buy it. =D

officially, my Flight School has been closed. no more teaching. its all about experience. i think i can't be a teacher, i'm too impatient sometimes. i've already like semi-stopped playing online, BF2 is now all about stunts. doing stunts with jets is damn thrilling!!! flew under a bridge upside down, flew through the tunnel, fly low to road kill with a jet.

of all things, my Splash lab mates hate is when i take an air vehicle. its they either run and hide, or battle with me. most of them end up dead by flying bombs or rockets. hahahahahaha. damn, i'm good. let's face it, bullying is rather fun in the computer. too bad BF2 doesn't have Scud launchers. i would've have annihilated my lab mates to pieces. just a thought though.

i've not been to the lab for like 4 days? wonder how's my computer doing. i've been shuttling around singapore. so, i thought i would spend my weekends at home. that seemed good. weather's okay during the weekends though. weekdays are super humid!! it rained this afternoon, so i guess it was fine. but oh, it was so nice. wonder what it would be like in Thailand. i would expect it to be much more hot and humid. i'll see when i get there.

i've actually did some research on the surrounding area of the company i'm posted to. Shopping heaven to the north, south, east and west!!!!! there's a Carrefour, 2 Jusco, Tesco, Giant etc. damn. i would never run out of anything!!! the main cause for concern is; transportation. it would be good if i rented a car but thinking, the traffic there is bad enough. it would be sufficient enough to take the taxi or subway but then again, it would not suffice for mobility or if i wanted to carry a lot of things. taxi would still be my best bet. car rentals are relatively cheap. food should not be a problem. lodging-wise, i could only think of hotels? there are hotels but i would doubt there are apartments nearby that we could live in for the next 3 months.

this afternoon, while i was idling by the computer listening to music, i decided... to create a to-bring things. well, its quite a long list. and also things that i want to buy back. please do take note, as i only can carry limited amount of things in a fairly large suitcase, i couldn't possibly buy everyone a "something". so, in advance i want to say.. すみません ほんと に。 (really sorry).

i would buy "somethings" at my own discretion. i counted as of today, about 15 people. woohoo. nice. i could only imagine how big or how many my suitcase(s) is/are going to be. so maybe, i would cut down to the people who take their time off to send me off at the airport. its only fair. and since i like to see people make the effort to come. hahaha. well, it doesn't matter at this point of time.

last night, i was surfing the Web for PDAs, smartphones and handphones. mainly on cnetasia. well, i'd really fancy the Sony Ericsson K800i. but on the other hand, i want to use calender functions too. so my best buy would be technically-speaking; a PDA phone a.k.a smartphones. not much choices though. we have O2, Blackberry, Sony Ericsson and the likes. but then again, i was thinking, would it be better to let a PDA function as a standalone instead of a hybrid? for a certain reason, i feel that it would be better off to function off as a standalone PDA rather than a PDA and a phone.

A PDA. what is a PDA? Personal Digital Assistant. a phone to me is to enable voice communication amongst 2 nodes or more. if i want a pure-bred PDA, there's so many choices to choose from. Dell, Acer, 02? and not forgetting Palm. so i would probably go for a PDA. but then again, i've not much use of a PDA when i've entered NS. so maybe now, a phone upgrade would be my best choice. but then again, i don't think i would want to bring a spanking new phone to camp. so my current status is to wait till i get out of NS. things would be much brighter.

just a thought of the day.
it doesn't have to take great things to make a person smile. and i personally feel that being in the company of happy people is the key to having a great day. but all it takes is just that someone to spoil it by saying something stupid. that's why we have cliques. cliques are formed by that common interest be it sports or games to technogeeks to fashionistas. to that extend, friends in a clique understand each dislike and like. but when this new thorn comes in, it could make or break a day. i've done some observations to prove my thesis. hehz. though not done in public. simple observations through friends. its big enough to make a connections tree.

and its also true, when you are speaking, you don't think very well. same goes when you're happy or sad or angry. i think i've mentioned it before in my previous entries. the worse is when someone snaps. a man never lies when he is angry. that's one of the proverbs i've gotten to know about. though i have now established anger management, i still can't help but to snap at times. but i know a technique to keep it cool. just keep quiet. hehz. it works ya know!! some things are meant to be proud of.

people look up to leaders. people look up to leaders for guidance, hope, compassion. one of the greatest leaders that ever lived was Napolean Bonaparte. you could say i admire him for some reason. unlike Hitler. i still remembered the first Leadership & Character class. "Why do you think you are a leader?". its not about just having good grades. its about the tenacity and courage of doing what's right. but then again, "What do you think is right?". doing the right things doesn't make you a leader. nor having great worldly possesions. how do you make things seem right?

my thirst for knowledge never ends. next up, psychology & sociology. i don't need those bloody CDS to teach me how to think of people!! seriously. they're an insult to my intelligence.
